Some Other Landscape
It is with much enthusiasm that the Pente Poets present their second book, Some Other Landscape.
With each poet having a discrete section within the book, this not a traditional anthology—rather a collection of poems designed to allow each Pente poet to showcase his or her preferred forms of poetry and unique creative style. The individuality of these wide-ranging writing styles, and the themes, poetic forms, reflections, contradictions and passions explored in the poems, have given Some Other Landscape a high degree of freshness and spontaneity, and hopefully many hours of enjoyment to its readers.
As with the previous book by the Pente Poets, this book also calls upon other talents within the group, and features the fine artwork of Susie Faint and Brad Drew, with layout and design by Judith Bandidt. The title, Some Other Landscape, was provided by Lyn Browne from her poem, 'Studying Trees'.
