Kuto Beach, Isle of Pines

The remains of the wartime landing stage and wharf built by the American soldiers stationed here in 1942.

During World War II around two hundred American soldiers were based at Isle of Pines, where they set up an observation post, established roads, a wharf and an airstrip.
